Vinistar Cold Flex

PVC film becomes harder and less flexible at low temperatures, which increases the risk of breaking or cracking. The Vinistar Cold Flex has been developed for use in very cold temperatures. The unique formula ensures that the PVC film is cold resistant. That is why Vinistar Cold Flex can be used optimally in outdoor applications where low temperatures have a great influence on the appearance and function of your end product such as tents or café closures.

Even in the most challenging cold temperatures, the Vinistar Cold Flex remains transparent and also flexible. Vinistar Cold Flex is suitable for high frequency welding.

Please note that PVC film becomes hard and less flexible at cold temperatures and the risk of breaking on impact is increased, therefore caution is always advised.

 

Product charateristics

  • REACH compliant:

    Produced as standard with safe, environmentally friendly plasticisers that comply with the European REACH directive.

  • UV resistant:

    UV stabilised PVC film remains transparent for a long time with minimal discolouration, even in the most challenging weather conditions.

  • Cold resistant:

    The Vinistar Cold Flex has an excellent cold resistance up to -55°C in the roll length and up to -50°C in the roll width.

  • Optimal transparency:

    The Vinistar Super is optimally transparent and allows more than 87.2% light through and blocks approximately 90% of harmful UV radiation.

  • Double polished:

    The standard polished finish on both sides of the material contributes to even greater clarity.

  • Easy maintenance:

    Cleaning with mild soap and lukewarm water is sufficient. Read more about this in our maintenance manual.

    All our PVC films are developed and produced by Achilles in factories in Japan or the United States.

    In our warehouse in the Netherlands we have various qualities films available directly from stock from 0.30mm to 0.75mm.
